Stop juggling Explorer windows.
Keep your project, documents, and pictures in tabs inside one Explorer window. Choose a tab instead of finding another window on the taskbar.

Windows 10 only. One managed window per Explorer process; others wait. The last tab stays open.
No per-tab history, session restore, pinned tabs, or cross-window dragging.
Working across a project folder, documents, and reference images often means keeping several Explorer windows open just to move between locations.
CabFuse takes a narrow approach: add a tab bar to Windows 10 File Explorer, and leave the file manager underneath in place. The address bar and file operations remain familiar; the folders you return to get a tab.
CabFuse is built with Zig and native Win32 controls, without a third-party runtime or background service. The goal is straightforward: spend less time finding the right Explorer window when moving between folders.
Current work focuses on reliable tab behavior, restoring window layouts on exit, and reducing resource use. CabFuse is an experimental preview.
